Because I picked up 12 oversized balloons for a baby shower this morning and a lady in the parking lot had to come over and help me herd the balloons into my limited-spaced liftback. At one point they slipped away but she grabbed them before they flew into the stratosphere.
So thanks again, kind stranger, and Goddammit: owning a car based on something other than utility is still completely alien to me.

That’s a damn pretty car, though.

Have You Thought Of Modding It?

Not really, but I do have many improvements I plan on doing. I have kind of a fetish for keeping my vehicles as stock as possible.

I thought wide arches and fat rubber could make anything look good, but that Celica really doesn’t tickle my pickle. Gimme that MK1!

Liftbacks, impractical?

Yes I know. Beyond shocking and or startling.

There are probably worse, I’d imagine? For years I could fit my whole life into the back of an Acura RSX.
Trying to fit more than 2 balloons into my current fleet of coupes/convertibles would end in tears.

Sounds like it’s time to invest in your own helium tank ;)
Love your car man!

Good choice. no reason to ruin a nice car with lowering springs and fart cans. Your spine and your wallet will thank you.
